Asus ROG phone, the only gaming smartphone of Taiwan Mobile Manufacturer, is ready to launch in India today. The company's gaming brand Republic of Gamer (ROG) unveiled the handset in Computex for the first time in June. At the time of its announcement, the world's first smartphone with the 3D vapor cooling system was also promised to come to India. The main features of the ROG phone include ultrasonic air trigger touch sensor, a Gamer-centric design with side-mounted ports optimized for landscape mode, an AMOLED display with HDR visualization, 90 Hz refresh rate, and 1 MMS response time, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SOC up to 2.96GHz, clock on Qualcomm Adreno 630 GPU, and more. Asus ROG Phone Specifications, Features


Asus ROG Phone Android 8.1 runs the Oreo-based ROG gaming UI. The smartphone has 6-inch full-HD + (1080x2160 pixels) AMOLED display, 90Hz refresh rate and 1 MMS response time, 108.6 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, and 10000: 1 contrast ratio. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SOC, which has been paired with the gaming-optimized Adreno 630 GPU and 8 GB RAM.
In the camera department, Asus ROG phone bears a dual rear camera setup with a 12 megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor. There is also an 8 megapixel selfie camera.

Asus ROG phone is equipped with 512 GB of inbuilt storage. Smartphone connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 A / B / G / N / AC / Advertising, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, AGPS, GLONUS, USB Type-C port, NFC, and 3.5mm jack. The handset has sensor accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and ultrasonic air trigger sensor.

The smartphone packs a 4000 mAh battery, which Asus claims to provide a 7-hour Wi-Fi gameplay. The company claims that the battery is capable of charging up to 60 percent in 33 minutes. In terms of dimensions, ASUS ROG phone measures 158.8x76.2x8.6 mm and weighs 200 grams.

One of the key features of Asus ROG phone includes a gaming cell vapor cooling system with a detachable AeroActive cooler for additional cooling. In addition, the smartphone comes with side-mounted ports and two programmable ultrasonic AirTriggers and advanced force-feedback haptics. There is also an optional twin view dock for dual screen handheld mode. There is a mobile desktop dock for desktop-style gaming and the GameVice controller is for big-screen gaming using 60-giga Wi-Fi with Wi-gig dock. The smartphone also includes Asus Aura RGB Lighting and Aura Sync Support and ASUS Hyper Charge Direct-Charge Technology.
